PATIENTS SAFETY FOUNDATION, POLAND
Jolanta Bilińska is the President of Patient Safety Foundation, Poland. She is also a Founding Board Director of World Patients Alliance (WPA) and a leading patients advocate who has been very active in raising the patients voice at the national, regional and global levels. She is also a Patients For Patients Safety Champion (PFPS) and a member of WHO’s Advisory Group of PFPS Program. In 2006, Jolanta established Patient Safety Foundation in Poland whose main aim is to promote safety measures in health service as well as to involve patients in the processes of treatment. Jolanata is currently working as the Director of Development and Social Communication at City Medical Centre dr. K. Jonscher, Lodz as well as lecturer at the High School for Nurses in Kalisz.
