Denis Migdalia - World Patients Alliance

Denis Migdalia is a Director at the Latin Health leaders. She is a Consultant in health care and expert in patient advocacy & research with a 16-year career in not-for-profit organizations. She is a leading patient advocate and also the founder & CEO of the Latin American Society for Pulmonary Hypertension (SLHP). Moreover, Migdalia is also a member of the United Nations’ inaugural NGO Committee for Rare Diseases. She has also been the collaborator of the First Latin American PVRI Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension. Migdalia has numerous honors, including the Purple Pioneer Award from the PH Association (United States) for Changing the Course of Pulmonary Hypertension in Latin America. She is the author and co-author of numerous scholarly articles as well as her own book.
