Alphonse Mbarrishimana - World Patients Alliance

Alphonse Mbarrishimana is highly ambitious, creative and methodical young pharmacist passionate about healthy living and people’s well-being. He possesses leadership qualities and managerial skills with a solid background in lifestyle management and ability to fulfill several functions. He is a detail-oriented manager and fundraiser with five years of experience in planning and executing people centered health programs. He is the current Executive Director of Rwanda Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance (An umbrella of 27 CSOs working on NCDs in Rwanda). As the outward-facing voice of the organization, he has responsibilities for leading institution secretariat, guiding translation of global strategies/policies into local actions, ensuring program quality and measuring impact.
