6th National Meeting for the Development of Cystic Fibrosis Associations - World Patients Alliance

The event aims to contribute to the development and professional strengthening of cystic fibrosis patient advocacy groups in Brazil so that, in a more professional way and working together, they can improve results that impact on improving the quality of life of people with the pathology in the country, as well as in the rare diseases ecosystem, considering that cystic fibrosis is one of the most common rare diseases and, therefore, needs to remain in constant discussion in the country’s health and political agendas. The closed event, which will take place on April 28, 2023, within the VIII Brazilian Interdisciplinary Congress on Cystic Fibrosis in person in Brasilia, also aims to provide and facilitate the participation of the presidents of patient advocacy groups of cystic fibrosis in the Congress, so that they learn and dialogue with professionals from Brazil and the world and establish important connections and synergies with CF specialists in Brazil.
