Randall is currently a lawyer for the College of Pharmacists of Costa Rica, College of Dental Surgeons of Costa Rica and College of Optometrists of Costa Rica. He is also a Professor and coordinator of the Chair of Pharmaceutical Ethics and Legislation at the University of Medical Sciences (Ucimed) and professor of Pharmaceutical Legislation at the University of Costa Rica. He is also a Member of the Patients for Patient Safety program of the World Health Organization (WHO) and deputy coordinator of the Pan American Network of Patients for Patient Safety.
Randall remained former lawyer of the Directorate of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Health, where he provided legal advice to the National Health Research Council and the General Auditor of Health Services of that Ministry, of which he is co-writer of its regulations. Furthermore, he has also served as Coordinator of the Health Law Commission of the Costa Rican Bar Association in addition to being a Certified mediator in health conflicts by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Costa Rica. Randall is also a Member of the Ibero-American Association of Health Law, a Lawyer and Notary Public from the University of Costa Rica (2002).
