CMTC-OVM Hosts International Family Weekend to Support Families Affected by Vascular Malformations

CMTC-OVM organized the CMTC-OVM International Family Weekend on 23–24 May 2026, bringing together people living with vascular malformations and their families for a dedicated weekend of connection, wellbeing, and mutual support.

The weekend created a safe and inclusive space for families to spend time together, stay active, and build supportive peer networks. Whether it was participating in light activities, sharing good food in a relaxed environment, meeting other families with similar experiences, or making new contacts for ongoing support, the focus remained on strengthening community and reducing isolation.

The initiative reflects CMTC-OVM’s commitment to improving quality of life by recognising that living with a rare condition impacts the whole family, and that practical support includes social connection and shared experiences.
