Diabetic Community Support Initiative (DSCI)
As part of ongoing efforts to raise awareness and sensitize the public about diabetes, the Diabetic Community Support Initiative (DSCI) is excited to announce their participation in the upcoming commemoration of Women’s Day. This important event will bring together civil society groups, government institutions, non-governmental organizations, and various stakeholders from across the country.
At this celebration, companies and institutions will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services. Typically, a prominent female government official, such as the Vice President or a Minister will be addressing the gathering following a march-past, delivering a speech to honor the contributions and impact women have made across various sectors. Some women will be awarded for their efforts.
DSCI is proud to organize this event that, despite living with diabetes, one should remain productive and resilient. DSCI participation in this event will highlight the strength of individuals living with diabetes and emphasizes the importance of inclusivity, empowerment, and support for all women, regardless of the challenges they may face.
