Dr Manjulaa Narasimhan is the Unit Head, for Sexual health and well-being across the life-course in the Department of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Research at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, and an Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the Imperial College London. Manjulaa leads WHO’s work on self-care interventions for health and well-being; coordinates and promotes innovative, people-centered approaches in global policy, communication and research to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights of underserved, marginalized populations. Manjulaa has also identified and managed strategic planning and oversight of prevention technologies for sexual and reproductive health and rights; approaches to increase quality health coverage for people in all their diversity; and built bridges between stakeholders, decision-makers and policy actors to positively influence public policy and practice.
