Snežana Šundić Vardić

Snežana Šundić Vardić is a communicologist and patient advocacy professional with extensive experience in marketing, digital media, and public engagement. In 2018, motivated by personal experience as a parent of children with atipic eczema, food allergy and asthma, she founded Serbia’s first patient organization for allergic diseases, the National Association “Allergy & Me”.

Under her leadership, the association has become the country’s leading platform for patient support, providing education, counseling, and assistance to thousands of patients and families. Its website serves as the main national hub for patients, featuring a wide range of educational materials and expert content. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the association was among the first in Serbia to launch a online counseling platform, pioneering telehealth support for patients with allergic and respiratory conditions.

The association has facilitated over 2,500 free allergy consultations, implemented nationwide awareness campaigns, conducted patient experience research, and established partnerships with international organizations including GlobalSkin, GAAPP, and EFA.

Snežana actively contributes to initiatives that strengthen the patient voice in healthcare policy and therapeutic innovation. She is dedicated to improving access to diagnostics and treatment, empowering individuals with allergic and respiratory conditions to lead safer and healthier lives.
