Veronika Ivančíková is a communications and public affairs professional with extensive experience in healthcare, patient advocacy, and hospitality management. She currently works with the Slovak Gastroenterological Society as a Specialist for Member Relations, PR, and Public Affairs, where she oversees member engagement, coordinates external communications, and supports institutional relations.

She has been actively involved in patient advocacy for several years, serving as Executive Director and Chair of the Board of the Slovak Crohn Club and as a former board member and international delegate of the Association for the Protection of Patients’ Rights (AOPP).

Previously, Veronika held senior sales and management roles in the hospitality industry, leading teams and developing business strategies for several four-star hotels in Slovakia. She is also an experienced English language lecturer.

Veronika holds a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching and is fluent in English, with additional knowledge of basic German.
