SM Shirajul Islam - World Patients Alliance

SM Shirajul Islam serves as the Executive Director of the Peoples Development Community (PDC) and is a Member of the Bangladesh Country Coordinating Mechanism (BCCM) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Bangladesh. He is an Advisor for the SEARO Region at the World Patients Alliance and holds key leadership positions as Chairman of Dhaka Ideal Nursing College and Bashuti Maa O Shishu Hospital Ltd.

At the international level, he is the Co-Initiator of the International Patriotic Pact Organization (IPPO) at the United Nations in Geneva and currently serves as the Head of Bangladesh UN IPPO. He also contributes globally through his roles with the Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association and the ESCAP United Nations Asia Region.
