LATIUM ASSOCIATION OF RHEUMATIC PATIENTS (ALMAR)
Sara Severoni is the President of Latium Association of Rheumatic Patients (ALMAR) as well as the vice President of National Association of Rheumatic Diseases (ANMAR). Sara suffers from systemic autoimmune rheumatic disease since 2001 and has also been engaged with Lazio rheumatic patients association since 2009. She joined the board of directors of the ANMAR association in 2013 and has been responsible for the development of European projects, national and institutional screening campaigns for the drafting of plans and pathways for care for rheumatic patients. She is the promoter of information campaigns for the recognition of symptoms and early diagnosis, of multidisciplinary screening throughout the national territory of Italy. She works alongside the patient, researchers and scientific societies for the improvement of the patient's quality of life and better assistance for the maintenance of joint function and therapeutic adherence.
