The WPA European Regional Meeting, taking place from 01–02 November 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal, will convene patient advocates, healthcare leaders, policymakers, and experts from across Europe to address the most pressing challenges in the prevention, management, and advocacy of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Through a dynamic program of plenary sessions and interactive discussions, the meeting will highlight innovative European initiatives, showcase the impact of patient advocacy on policy and care, and offer practical strategies to empower patients and patient organizations.
With a strong focus on the upcoming UN High-Level Declaration on NCDs (2025), this event aims to inspire collaboration and drive meaningful change for the future of patient-centered health in Europe. Participants will have opportunities to network, exchange information, share experiences, and learn from one another, amplifying the collective voice of the European patient community. WPA’s European Regional Meeting provides a vital platform for patients and advocates from across the continent to unite, strengthen regional partnerships, and advance the cause of patient-centered care.
