Stroke Care International Marks World Patient Safety Day 2025 in Lagos

Organized by: Stroke Care International, in collaboration with the World Patients Alliance (WPA)

Date: September 9, 2025

Stroke Care International (SCI), in collaboration with the World Patients Alliance (WPA), held a World Patient Safety Day 2025 program at Caleb International School, Ikosi Ketu, Lagos, Nigeria, aligned with the global theme “Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child.” More than 100 pupils participated in interactive sessions designed for children, teachers, and parents.

The event opened with a practical session on healthy habits, using visual aids and demonstrations to reinforce key messages, followed by a fitness and exercise segment led by a professional coach emphasizing simple daily routines for families. A lively quiz competition engaged students while SCI distributed gift bags with school supplies on behalf of WPA. The program concluded with a pledge for safe care, inviting pupils to commit to sharing lessons with their families and communities. Group photographs captured the day’s spirit of shared responsibility for safety.

SCI expressed appreciation for WPA’s support and reaffirmed its commitment to building safer communities where every child can thrive.
