The Vitiligo International Patient Organizations Committee has launched the Vitiligo Patient Views Study, a global survey examining the unmet needs and lived experiences of people with vitiligo and their families.
The survey explores emotional wellbeing, social and workplace discrimination, financial burden and cultural experiences. It aims to address gaps in existing evidence by documenting aspects of living with vitiligo that may not be fully represented in published clinical literature.
Developed with input from patient advocates, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry experts and other stakeholders, the study has received official scientific registration. Its findings will inform a Global White Paper to strengthen awareness, research and patient-centred dialogue on vitiligo.
