Gloria’s Cancer Foundation Marks Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month with Community Hike | World Patients Alliance

Gloria’s Cancer Foundation organised the “Blue Hat Bow Tie” hike in Abuja to commemorate Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

Held with a well-known hiking group in the city, the event brought together colorectal cancer survivors, oncology experts and community members to raise awareness about the disease. Survivors shared their perspectives, while experts provided information to strengthen public understanding of colorectal cancer.

By combining awareness, survivor engagement and community participation, the hike created an accessible platform for conversations about colorectal cancer and encouraged greater attention to prevention and timely care.
