Stroke Care International Promotes Awareness and Prevention on World Stroke Day
29 October 2025
Stroke Care International marked World Stroke Day with a community outreach programme focused on stroke awareness, prevention and healthy living.
Interactive health education sessions provided community members with information about stroke risk factors, warning signs and preventive action. Participants also received free health screenings, including vital health checks, to support the early identification of conditions associated with stroke.
An aerobic exercise session highlighted the role of regular physical activity in supporting health and reducing stroke risk. Essential medicines were also distributed according to participants’ health needs, improving access to basic healthcare support.
A key part of the event was the participation of stroke survivors, who shared their recovery experiences and offered encouragement to attendees. Their stories reinforced the importance of timely care, rehabilitation and sustained support for people affected by stroke.
