He works at local, regional and global levels on treatment access and literacy, evidence-based activism and human rights. He is the founding chairperson of Kırmızı Kurdele İstanbul (Red Ribbon Istanbul) and has contributed to organisations including EATG (European AIDS Treatment Group), PAC (Prevention Access Campaign), GNP+, World Patients Alliance, ISQua and many others.

Over the years, he has delivered opening remarks, keynote and thematic speeches, as well as thematic presentations and workshops at numerous national and international conferences. In recent years, his work has increasingly focused on the theoretical dimensions of activism, combining practice with critical and thematic writing and presentations.

Although he is neither an academic nor a healthcare professional, Panosian has served on the scientific committee of #HIVGlasgow for three consecutive editions (2022, 2024 and 2026). In 2026, he was honoured with the Science to Impact Award at #AIDS2026 in Brazil for his pioneering work translating evidence and science into real-world impact.

He continues his work as a global civil society volunteer, thinker and writer, while also working as an organiser of health-related congresses, conferences and meetings, particularly in Türkiye and internationally.
