COFPAK Participates in the World Patient Safety Conference 2026 | World Patients Alliance

The Confraternity of Patients Kenya (COFPAK) participated in the World Patient Safety Conference 2026 at Aga Khan University Hospital from 9 to 11 September. The conference brought together national and county health leaders, healthcare professionals, partners and other stakeholders to discuss safer, higher-quality care, with a focus on non-communicable diseases.

COFPAK was represented by Ogallo Ogweno, who contributed to discussions on patient and family engagement, meaningful partnerships between patients and healthcare providers, and barriers to participation in healthcare.

The event provided a forum for sharing experiences and practical approaches to strengthening patient safety and ensuring that patients and families have a stronger voice in healthcare.
