Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 held a Patient Safety Day programme focused on viewing safety through the patient’s experience and embedding it throughout every child’s care journey.

The hospital reported hosting quality and patient safety leaders from WHO, GAHAR, the Medical Services Sector of the Ministry of Interior and Ain Shams University, alongside its Medical Director, Quality Director, Patient Safety Officer and an oncology consultant.

Discussions explored how leadership, open reporting and learning from incidents can strengthen a daily culture of safety. Three interactive workshops followed, helping participants translate the discussions into practice.
