Yaser Davoudian is director of rare diseases foundation of Iran, he has more than 10 years’ experience in this position, During his presidency, many honors were brought to the Rare Disease Foundation of Iran, becoming member of ECOSOC, consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. Also the explanation of the national strategic plan, the launching of the Sabna registration system, membership in international patient organizations and cooperation with them, holding medical conferences, Editing and publishing 4 Atlas of rare diseases and holding Medical Commission to find the best treatment for patients and to inform new research and treatments, Naming the National Rare Diseases Day in the country’s official calendar.
