Conference - World Patients Alliance

WPA’s 1st World Patients Conference is being held from 15th and 16th October 2022 at  Rome, Italy. The conference will provide patients the platform and opportunity to network, exchange information, share experiences, learn from each other, raise your voice, and advocate for patients cause internationally.

Join us as we provide the international platform to empower and raise the patients’ voice for the provision and access to safe, quality, and affordable healthcare globally.

We advocate for hundreds of millions of patients worldwide. Our global patient’s community will come together for two days of interactive programming designed to create tangible change through advocacy.

Theme: The theme of the conference is “New Normal, New Challenges for Patients”. The healthcare has changed a lot since hit by pandemic globally. Both patients and healthcare providers have experienced unpresented challenges in the last few years and there is a new normal that is emerging. Patients and healthcare providers are adjusting to this new normal.

Hybrid Event: The 1st World Patients Conference will be a hybrid event, so you can participate in the conference both in person and virtually.

The leading global healthcare stakeholders have confirmed attending and presenting at the conference, which include World Health Organization, International Committee of the Red Cross, International Council of Nurses, International Hospital Federating, European Medicine Agency and World Federation of Public Health Associations.

The WPA is pleased to announce Grants for WPA member organizations to attend the conference in person. There are a limited number of grants, which would be given to selected members for attending the conference in Rome, Italy travel.
