Community integration and system strenhtening project against skin NTDS in Bono and Ahafo Region, Ghana on 18 July 2023 - World Patients Alliance

WPA Member Tim Africa Aid Ghana (TAAG) is organizing an interaction with stakeholders in the health sector to promote meeting of targets for control, elimination and eradication of skin NTDs on 18 Jul in Ahafo Ano North, South West and South East districts of Ghana.

This event is aimed to do the followings:

Advocate for across sectors to reach the targets for control, elimination, and eradication of skin Neglected Tropical Diseases ( NTDs) on patients.

Advocate for stakeholders in the health system to providing people-centered care to individuals with skin NTDs.

Advocate for stakeholders in health system to focus on create and facilitate an Integrated and Coordinated Program for the Control, Elimination and Eradication of Skin related NTDs in the selected districts.

Advocate for stakeholders in health system to conduct examination of the skin serves as an opportunity to identify multiple skin conditions in a single intervention.

Advocate for stakeholders in health system to improve case detection in settings often characterized by fragile health systems like in most districts in Ghana.

Advocate for stakeholders in health system to integrated approaches which will further strengthen overall disease surveillance and data management.
