Empowerment for Sustainable Livelihood (ESL) will lead a Global Fatty Liver Day awareness campaign on 11 June 2026 at the Wawasua Community Centre in Sunyani, focusing on liver health education, risk prevention, and practical lifestyle modification.

The campaign will engage community members on the growing burden of fatty liver disease, with sessions designed to support early awareness and informed prevention. Whether it is interactive talks on liver health and risk factors, distribution of clear educational materials, or structured Q&A sessions to address community questions, the activities are designed to promote early detection and healthier daily practices.

The initiative reflects ESL’s commitment to community-informed prevention, recognising that public awareness and practical guidance are essential to reducing avoidable disease burden and improving long-term health outcomes.
