Global Colon Cancer Association Announces 2026 Leadership Awards and Global CRC Congress | World Patients Alliance

The Global Colon Cancer Association is inviting nominations for the 2026 Global CRC Leadership Awards and preparing to convene the 2026 Global CRC Congress. Both initiatives aim to recognize leadership and strengthen global action on colorectal cancer prevention and care.

The awards honour individuals and organizations creating meaningful change through policy, advocacy, community engagement, research and care delivery. They recognize work that supports prevention, expands access to screening and treatment, and advances health equity. Nominations close on 15 July 2026.

The Global CRC Congress will bring together patient advocates, policymakers, healthcare professionals, advocacy organizations and industry stakeholders on 5–6 November 2026. Discussions will cover prevention, screening, diagnostics, treatment innovation, quality of care, health system capacity, patient experience, survivorship, supportive care and global advocacy.

Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Africa Time on 5 November and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on 6 November. Registration will include access to session recordings after the Congress.
