Red Ribbon Istanbul Association will host the fourth International Community-Led HIV Conference, #HIVİstanbul2026, on 24 November 2026. The civil society-led conference will return after a two-year break under the theme #TheNewWaveOfHIVActivism.

The conference will bring together civil society organizations, activists, academics, medical professionals and youth initiatives. Participants will examine the changing direction of the global HIV movement and discuss how community-led advocacy can remain responsive, rights-based and connected to lived experiences.

Building on previous editions held between 2021 and 2023, #HIVİstanbul2026 will provide a platform for open discussion, critical reflection and cross-sector collaboration.

Through the conference, Red Ribbon Istanbul Association aims to support the development of a renewed language, shared priorities and a collective roadmap for the future of HIV activism.
