SCUT Community Medical Camp highlighting Health Equity and Access to Quality Healthcare | World Patients Alliance

Sickle Cell Uhuru Trust (SCUT), a patient-led organization in Kenya, will host a two-day Community Medical Camp on 6–7 November 2026 at Kibera DO Clinic in Nairobi. The camp will take place under the theme Promoting Health Equity and Access to Quality Healthcare for Vulnerable Communities.

The initiative will bring together healthcare professionals, community health workers, patients, caregivers and community members to improve access to essential, patient-centred services. Planned activities include sickle cell disease education and screening, medical consultations, eye and dental screening, health assessments, psychosocial support, health education and referrals.
