#ACTNOWSCREENTODAY# Event on Global Fatty Liver Day
On June 13th, 2024, Empowerment for Sustainable Livelihood, a leading patient health advocacy NGO in Ghana, hosted the #ACTNOWSCREENTODAY# event in Sunyani, Bono Region, Ghana-West Africa. This event, part of Global Fatty Liver Day, focused on raising awareness about fatty liver disease and promoting healthy liver practices.
The event featured expert talks, interactive workshops, and free liver health screenings. Attendees engaged with healthcare professionals, received personalized advice, and learned about the latest advancements in liver health research. These activities provided essential knowledge and resources to the participants.
The goal of the event was to educate the public on the importance of early screening and prevention of fatty liver disease, a significant health concern in Ghana and globally.
