The International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Association (IFPMA), in coordination with partner organizations, is organizing a 4-day virtual conference, on 12-15 September, that brings together key stakeholders, including patients, national regulatory authorities and pharmaceutical manufacturers, who are active in the regulatory field in Africa. The conference will focus on exploring future directions as the continent progresses towards the operationalization of the African Medicines Agency.
Emphasizing the need for collaboration among stakeholders to advance regulatory science, reliance, and convergence, the conference aims to contribute towards building a robust regulatory ecosystem that ensures the availability of safe, effective, and quality medicines and vaccines for the people of Africa, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes and better access to healthcare for all.
The event will be in English and French.
