Anas Nofal is a distinguished patient advocate and a member of the Asia Pacific Regional Steering Committee of the World Patients Alliance (WPA) from the UAE. Advocacy for patients lies at the heart of Anas’s mission. He has spearheaded the first-ever Dubai International Patients Voice Summit, a pioneering event dedicated to amplifying patient voices in the region.
His steadfast commitment to patient advocacy drives his efforts to ensure patients’ access to quality healthcare services, reduce healthcare inequalities, and address patient needs through innovative and sustainable solutions. Anas’s collaborations span charity organizations, the pharmaceutical and insurance industries, healthcare providers, regulators, medical associations, societies, NGOs, and other organizations. These partnerships aim to enhance patient advocacy, drive patient empowerment, and foster public-private collaborations. He has successfully established unique and sustainable strategies that prioritize patient care and improve access to healthcare services.
Anas is also the Managing Partner of Axios International, which works towards providing equitable and sustainable access to quality care and treatment for patients in need across the world. In his role, he ensures that patient advocacy is integral to the strategic planning, business development, project implementation, and stakeholder relationships for all of their healthcare access programs. Anas holds a Ph.D. in Public Health, a master’s degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science. He is fluent in English and Arabic, enabling him to effectively advocate for patients across diverse communities.
