WPA will conduct Heart of Healthcare badge distribution during WPA’s 3rd World Patients Conference. WPA will develop a dedicated campaign badge, and this activity is designed to mobilise patient communities, nurses, and healthcare stakeholders in clear, visible solidarity with nurses.

What this will involve: Conference participants will be invited to wear the badges throughout the event to amplify the campaign message in a clear, public way. Participants will also be encouraged to take the badges back with them and use them in their own countries to extend campaign visibility beyond the conference.

Why it matters: A shared, visible symbol helps turn recognition into collective action, reinforcing that supporting nurses is essential for safe, high-quality patient care.
