WPA will host a global webinar aligned with World Patient Safety Day 2026 to bring together health leaders, policy-makers, patient advocates, health workers, and patient organizations.

The webinar will focus on the patient safety challenges linked to noncommunicable diseases and the need for safer, more coordinated care across the full NCD care pathway. Discussions will highlight key issues such as diagnostic delays, medication safety, fragmented care, communication gaps, and barriers to timely access.

The webinar will also provide a platform to explore practical approaches for supporting health workers, strengthening patient engagement, and ensuring that patients’ voices are included in decisions that affect their care.
