WPA will provide grants to its member organizations to support local and national activities for World Patient Safety Day 2026.

These grants will help member organizations raise awareness of patient safety risks linked to noncommunicable diseases and promote locally relevant action aligned with the WPSD 2026 theme, “Safe care for noncommunicable diseases.”

Supported activities may include awareness campaigns, stakeholder dialogues, community engagement initiatives, patient education activities, and events focused on safer NCD care.

Through these grants, WPA aims to strengthen the participation of its member organizations and support coordinated action to advance patient safety in NCD care at the community, national, and regional levels.
