As part of World Patient Safety Day 2026, WPA will provide grants to its member organizations to support local and national activities aligned with the theme, “Safe care for noncommunicable diseases.”

These grants will support community-driven efforts to raise awareness of patient safety risks linked to noncommunicable diseases and promote locally relevant action for safer NCD care. Supported activities may include awareness campaigns, stakeholder dialogues, community engagement initiatives, patient education sessions, hospital- or community-based events, and other in-person activities focused on safer care for people living with NCDs.

Grant Amount: USD 300–500

– WPA Full and Associate member organizations

– Activities must be organized as in-person events

– Events must reflect the WPSD 2026 theme

– Organizations must use WPA branding and promotional materials in line with WPSD guidelines

1- Complete the WPSD 2026 Grant Application Form.

2- Grant funds will be reimbursed after the event.

Only selected applicants will receive the grant.

1- Use WPA-provided promotional assets, including banners, logos, and social media visuals.

2- Acknowledge WPA as a partner in all event materials and communications.

3- Submit a post-event report of approximately 400 words with high-resolution photos within one week of the event.

4- Promote their event through WPA’s social channels and share event links and outcomes.

5- Complete WPA’s Declaration and Bank Details Form for grant disbursement.

WPA encourages all member organizations to use this opportunity to plan meaningful World Patient Safety Day 2026 activities that advance safer NCD care at the community, national, and regional levels.
