As part of the Prediabetes Awareness & Action Initiative, the World Patients Alliance is developing educational videos to support public awareness, patient education, and community-level understanding of prediabetes and diabetes prevention.
These videos use clear and patient-friendly messages to explain key issues such as early awareness, screening, risk factors, prevention-focused action, and the role of families and communities. The purpose is to make information easier to understand and more accessible for patients, caregivers, patient organizations, and the wider public.

WPA will continue to publish additional educational videos under the Prediabetes Awareness & Action Initiative. These videos will cover prevention, early diagnosis, the diabetes spectrum, family risk factors, screening awareness, and World Diabetes Day messages.
We invite patient organizations, partners, and community stakeholders to watch, share, and use these resources to support awareness and informed action.
Educational videos can help simplify health information and make awareness materials easier to share. Through this video series, WPA aims to support clearer public understanding of prediabetes and encourage informed conversations among patients, families, communities, and health stakeholders.
The videos are part of WPA’s wider effort to promote patient-centred awareness, early risk recognition, screening awareness, and stronger attention to prediabetes within broader diabetes prevention and noncommunicable disease priorities.
